About Me:

My name is Rebekah. My full name is Rebekah Joy Monroe. It's the Hebrew spelling, but I'm not Jewish. I was born on an Air Force Base in Florida, but I was raised as an Evangelical Christian in rural Missouri starting from around the age of seven. I've been performing since I was a wee one with my singing, and making people laugh (usually from my dancing skills or lack thereof). I went to Chicago, just to visit of course, when I was 19. With me, I had $300, my guitar, and a few suitcases. Shocker: I never went back to Missouri. I stayed in Chicago from age 19 to 27. I have so many stories from that time...Not that my time in Missouri doesn't hold its share.

However, the most notable things to come from my time in Chicago are the following:

My cats: Cookie and Nala (yes, they have an instagram)
My husby: Renan (yes, he also has an instagram)
My Bachelor's degree. ONLY TOOK 3 SCHOOLS + 6 YEARS!
My sexual identity: I identify as a polyamorous queer in a cis-het monogamous relationship. I'll put it this way: He's worth it.
